Singles Blackrock

Blackrock is a small coastal town south of Dublin. There are some beautiful historic houses, castles and gardens in the area, most notably Deepwell. Deepwell was originally built in the 1740s and invites visitors from all over to explore its stunning house and award-winning gardens overlooking Dublin Bay. The National Maritime Museum and James Joyce Museum are both near Blackrock and worth the short drive.

There are numerous excellent art galleries in Blackrock - the Apollo Gallery, Millrace Gallery, Temple Gallery and Waldock Art Gallery have fine exhibitions of contemporary Irish art. When night falls on Blackrock, singles head for the bright lights of Dublin or enjoy the many friendly local Irish pubs and restaurants.
