Meeting the man of my dreams

There he was – this handsome athletic man, wearing a light grey suit and sitting relaxed at a table at the terrace of my favorite restaurant. While he was waiting for his date to appear he looked, lost in thoughts and half way smiling, towards the riverside. So this was him: the man of my dreams! Self-confident and kind of reserved, obliging and humorous, well built and with the most attractive eyes I had ever seen … And he was waiting for me!

How to behave towards the man of my dreams?

We had met a week ago at that very place by chance. He asked politely to see me again and I just had been able to nod with a confused smile. Could it be? Had I finally met the man of my dreams? Me, who always laughed about the girls who dreamt in a naïve way of the prince on a white horse? One week later I still had the confused smile on my face, watching from behind a tree how the man of my dreams waited for me to appear.

Take the opportunity

I was so nervous I could not manage to go ahead and finally say hello. The whole week I had tried to convince myself that a second date with this man would show that imagination and wishful thinking had played a trick on me. But there he was very much alive and still I had the secure feeling: This is the man of my dreams! I moved on – and there I was: blushing but smiling. Looking into his eyes meant more than words to me: I had found him, the man of my dreams!
